The Riverside Motel
Can I bring a grill to The Riverside Motel?
We do not allow grilling in front of our rooms or on our
balconies/patio out of consideration for other guests. You can grill at
the nearby Hayward Beach and Park, or at Mallards' Landing picnic bench.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are allowed in some rooms. There is a charge of $ 10.00 per night
per pet, plus tax. We expect you to pick up after your pet, and
supervise it at all times.
Is cigarette smoking allowed on your property?
Smoking is only allowed outdoors as long as other non-smoking
guests are not disturbed.
Do you have wireless internet?
Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms, plus DSL high speed internet in
our deluxe rooms.
When can we check in?
Check-in starts at 3 PM until 10 PM. We try to have all rooms ready by
3 PM, however, in the summertime we might need more time. If you arrive
later than 10 PM you need to give us a call to let us know your
approximate time of arrival. The motel office closes around 10.30 PM.
Can we clean fish on your property?
Sorry - fish cleaning is not allowed on our property.
Is The Riverside Motel located near Hayward?
The Riverside Motel is located approximately four blocks south of
downtown Hayward on the Namekagon River/Lake Hayward, within city
limits, and walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants.
Does your motel have a swimming pool or hot tub?
The Riverside Motel does not have a swimming pool, however, Hayward
Beach and
Park has a nice swimming beach and you can walk or drive to it. Two of
our Waterfront Studio rooms have a masseur bath which is a large bath
tub for one person with 36 jets for a great bath massage.
